Welcome to our Keone'ula Peace Garden Blog

Welcome to our Keone'ula Elementary School Peace Garden Blog!  This school year, we will be creating an International Peace Garden.

Throughout the year, we will be blogging about our garden experiences!  We will be posting pictures, videos, and reflections so stay tuned for more!

  1. Hi K.I.C. Members,

We think your garden project is very cool and exciting. The garden will be nice for all of the school to look at and enjoy. We can't wait to see what it will look like when you're done and we hope you finish on time.

Now that you've started, what part of making the garden are you enjoying the most? Is there anything us fourth graders can do to help you with your project? Can you tell us more about your plans, like what kinds of plants you plan to grow? We look forward to learning more about the peace garden.

    Sincerely,

    The 4th Graders of F204

  2. Hello 4th Graders,
Well, as of right now we are just trying to get gardening supplies and plants. If you are able to, we would really appreciate any donations you can offer. Also, if possible, your teacher could schedule a date with Ms.Coffin to help dig up the garden area. The garden will include Native plants, such as a taro patch. Hopefully this will help you with your Hawaiian studies. We will be sure to post up more pictures on our blog to inform you about our project.

    Yours Truly,
    Writers and Planners
